Bolton VC Return to Sandwell.

After nearly 20 years, Bolton VC returned to the Sandwell Volleyball tournament in Birmingham. We entered a team in the Mens competition and in sweltering conditions narrowley missed out from advancing to the semi-finals from the "group of death" having been pipped to the post by both eventual finalists.

Bolton VC Retain White Rose Tournament Cup!

8th June2013

Another early start, and we all headed up north to Darlington for the White Rose Tournament. In what is rapiddly becoming tradition, we lost the first game of the group stage before advancing to the final, which we won in 3 sets to retain the trophy. The dehydration, sunburn and aching muscles were all worth it. Great job everyone!

Bolton VC take part in national GO SPIKE weekend!

Defying the rain, a few hardcore members of the team set up the net in Queens Park for a game as part of the GO SPIKE weekend. We've been working hard to spread the word for our sessions, so hopefully we'll get some exciting new players over the next couple of weeks!

Mixed Fortunes at Manchester Outdoor Volleyball Tourmant

Finally! A tournament that didn't require a 6.30 alarm! Bolton VC managed to enter two teams in the mens competition and Stef joined forced with Oldham to enter the mixed tournament.

Both of our mens teams won 2 of their 4 matches, but it was Stef and Oldham's day as they took the mixed trophy! Well done Stef!
